When do you need a sworn translation?
A sworn diploma translation is required for:
- Filing an application with NARIC Belgium for academic recognition
- Enrolment at a Belgian university or college with a non-EU diploma
- Access to a regulated profession (doctor, lawyer, architect…)
- A visa or residence permit application for study or work
- Applications to a Belgian employer requiring a certified translation

Transcripts are charged at ×1.5 the base rate due to layout complexity (tables, module codes, ECTS credits). Expect €75 per page for a transcript.
Which documents to prepare?
For your NARIC or recognition file, you typically need:
- The original diploma (both sides if necessary)
- The full transcript covering your entire programme
- The diploma supplement (if available)

For urgent applications, you can choose the Express (48h) or Urgent (24h) option when ordering, at a surcharge of 25% or 50%.
