The three urgency levels
When placing your order, you choose a delivery timeframe. This choice affects the final price.
Standard
No surchargeRecommended timeframe for most files. No price surcharge.
≤ 40 pages: 5 working days. Beyond that, +1 day per additional 8 pages (capped at 30 working days).
| Pages | Working days |
|---|---|
| 1–40 | 5 |
| 48 | 6 |
| 80 | 10 |
| 120 | 15 |
| 160 | 20 |
| 200 | 25 |
Express
2 working days · +25%For files with a tight deadline. The translator commits to delivering within 2 working days.
Available for files of ≤ 16 pages only.
Urgent
1 working day · +50%For absolute emergencies. Delivery within 1 working day. Availability depends on translators online.
Available for files of ≤ 8 pages only.
When does the countdown start?
The timeframe starts at payment confirmation. The countdown begins from that moment, regardless of when the document was uploaded.
Example: you pay on Friday at 6pm for a 7-page file on express (2 working days). The countdown starts from payment confirmation — delivery is expected by Tuesday.
What happens if the deadline is missed?
If the translator does not deliver within the agreed timeframe, you can open a dispute from your client area. The Certus team will intervene to find a solution, and a refund may be issued if necessary.
